    Football league Survey

That was fun. Particularly enjoyed that the question "what's your age?" was followed by "what was the year of your birth?" and that they needed to ask two separate questions to get my full postcode. If I don't win the draw I'll be well angry.

Tis: should he stay or should he go?

No. I have an opinion, but if people on here were swayed by what I said it'd be the first time in years!

Tis: should he stay or should he go?

But answering "no" to "should he stay or should he go?" doesn't make sense either!

Tis: should he stay or should he go?

People have been asking the question though and and quite vociferously in some cases. If this poll shows that they are in the minority then it has proved something and has value, surely?

Tis: should he stay or should he go?

We've had a lot of talk about this of late and it seems to me that a poll is in order to let everyone have their say. I know what I think...

    OK, I'll sort a poll.

    Is Exeweb slow?

There were a couple of things running in the background last night that I hope will make the site faster. In the short term they had the opposite effect. All seems quite speedy this morning, so let's keep an eye today...

    Tisdale out !!

For the record, I'm with Credy here. Tis hasn't lost it over night. He knew how good the teams were over the last few years when loads on here were slating the players and he'll know now that things aren't right. However, suggesting that we get rid of him now is a knee-jerk reaction that shows...

Things still haven't been great today, but I've crunched the database a bit tonight and things seem much quicker here. Let me know if issues continue elsewhere.

    The Stasi

Re: The Stasi in the form of ECFC girl OK - I accept that people may not have understood what the "sin bin" is for. I'll get it added to the site guidelines so everyone's aware.

    The Stasi

Re: The Stasi in the form of ECFC girl I think we're going to have to agree to disagree. It took me the best part of an hour to remove the six pages of nonsense that was on that thread. All the moderators on this site are volunteers and neither they nor I are always able to drop everything to...

Re: The Stasi in the form of ECFC girl ecfc girl has explained why the thread was removed. If I'm honest, Malcolm, I find your reaction to this "issue" surprising and disappointing.

What happened to the Tisdale out thread ?

******** - the club have no say over how this site is operated. I am surprised that you don't know this. ecfc girl moved the thread - quite rightly - because it had deviated wildly off-topic and had become over-run with insults and abuse amongst users. Threads moved to the sin bin are...

Closing threads allows the reasonable content to remain visible to those who are interested. Threads should be closed when they have run their course.

    Is Exeweb slow?

I've had to remove some old threads and delete user profiles that haven't been used for three years. Our web host has also been doing some digging around in the background. Things seem to be running OK again now. Let me know if there are any more problems.
