Well, it looks like the CW Dynamoes Under 14's will be officially folding at the end of the week. With no wins this season, and a couple of heavy losses already, the boys are starting to fall out amongst themselves on the pitch. Another sending off on Saturday by one of the usual suspects due...
Awful performance from the Dynamoes yesterday. Went down 8-3 to a Cullompton side who were certainly no better than us but just seemed to want it more. We played like we were half asleep in the first half, woke up a bit at the start of the second to score twice in 2 minutes, but then son was...
Frustrating start for the Dynamoes under 14's with a 6-2 loss against St Martins, but this was not really reflective of the match overall. We had some great chances, including at least 2 one-on-ones with the St Martin's keeper, which our striker managed to frustratingly waste. Encouraging...
We still have a small squad Ant. We only have 14 signed on as we lost a couple of the lads recently. Yesterday we had 2 subs, but the previous 2 games we had no subs at all. I guess it will be good to test ourselves back in Div 1 next season, see how far we have come this year and, as you...
A nice 5-3 win against Heavitree Rockets yesterday confirms our second place finish in the league.
Mixed feelings about promotion really - we struggled badly last season, with some heavy defeats. However, we have played some good football at times this season. Discussed this with the manager...
A terrific 7-1 win for the Dynamoes against Feniton this morning. The Dynamoes were jittery for the first 20 minutes but, once that first goal went in, they relaxed and put in a marvellous team performance. One of the best performances of the season, coupled with a beautiful morning - lovely...
A very hard fought 3-2 win for the Dynamoes against Hemyock yesterday. End to end stuff, and a thoroughly enjoyable game. Score was 2-1 until midway through the second half, when Hemyock equalised to make it 2-2. A tense last 15 minutes until the Dynamoes won the match with a minute to go...
With no match scheduled for us, the manager arranged a friendly with Alphington. So nice for the lads to finally have a game, as they haven't played since November - but you would never think so, as they were up for it from the off. Got an early goal, Alphington equalised soon afterwards, but...
Fantastic 12-1 win for the Dynamoes today against Feniton. The boys never let the cold bother them at all - it was pretty even for the first 10 minutes but then, once the first goal went in, there was no stopping them. A terrific team performance which leaves us in clear second place, two...
Nice 3-2 win for the Dynamoes against Brixington United yesterday. After a bit of a drubbing at Colyton 2 weeks ago, followed by a home draw last Saturday, the Dynamoes needed to get back to winning ways and, with both teams having byes in the first round of the cup, it made sense to play our...
This is my son's advice - there should be barrels on the slope. Approach the barrels and hold down x - your character should then be able to kick them down the slope and the trench then catches fire - they stop coming then. My son is past this level now, so sounds like it works!
I've had the same e-mail. Right scam - shan't bother any further with it. Will be interested to know if anyone gets any Notts County tickets, but shan't hold my breath!
A fantastic 11-1 win for us yesterday at home to Bradninch. The boys were terrific. Lovely to see them enjoying their football again - second in the league now with a game in hand. Big match away at Colyton next Saturday though - first vs second.
Brilliant morning for the Dynamoes at Brixington United yesterday. Brixington had a very early goal disallowed for offside which woke us up. Halftime we were 2-0 up and we never looked back. A nice 6-1 win, with Brixington's only goal coming from the penalty spot.
Brixington really need to...
We were dreadful yesterday against Sidmouth. Looked half asleep from the off and were quickly 2-0 down. Our goalie then brought down their striker, who was clean through on goal, for a nailed on penalty. The ref asked the Sidmouth manager if he wanted our goalie sent off, but he didn't -...
:) It feels good too. We have dropped down to division 2 this season and the boys are getting their confidence back. Great to see them trooping off at the end with beaming smiles rather than their heads hanging.
Lovely 4-0 win for the Dynamoes against Central. We got an early goal, our confidence grew and we commanded the game. That's played 2, won 2, third in the division with a game in hand.
Oh, and I shall be firing off a very angry e-mail to the Express and Echo editor in the morning. That paper...
