Re: Tisdale must go
Charlton got rid of a long serving manager who did a good job with the resources to hand, as the board/fans got impatient and could not understand why they did not get year on year improvement.
I wonder what happened to them?
At present I am happy with the progression.
Still seems to be a decent amount from the youth squad involved at present. Grimes, Bennett, Sercombe have moved on, others were not quite good enough and have been released. I am not sure if Tilson counts as YTS or not, but either way we still have...
Personally, I'd be proud if ECFC staged some games at the Park to help increase their profile. Likewise, the same with the youth teams and disability teams.
A lot here seem to espouse quite chauvinistic views. Try asking your wive's and daughters what they think of your views just to see what...
Re: Christian Riberio
Play him at right back where he can overlap with a right sided midfielder who will then sit in for him. If you played him right midfield you would find he is marked out the game, whereas you cannot mark him at right back and his willingness to sprint up the touchlines...
Oakley or Butterfield can play centre back but they need either someone that commits to cleaning out the first challenge so they can sweep or someone that can sweep for them when they commit to the tackle. JMT too often is square on when he should be dropping to cover for a mistake of the other...
It is wrong to increase the price for those who pay on the day. Staff is still in place, so no extra costs, so if you buy on the day and know you paid more, it is irrelevant how much more: it just leaves a sour taste.
These fans are by their nature the more floating / fickle type, so why do...
Decision looked right though. Although linesman do get told to wait until actively interfering before flagging so he was giving him chance to cease chasing the ball but when he got so close he flagged. Seemed fair.
First half was even, but given the strength of the wind I thought it meant Exeter were marginal favourites for the second half. Unfortunately, Chesterfield's team talk seemed to be about playing the conditions and playing in our half given the conditions. I don't think our players showed enough...
As someone who only watches a handful of games to me, it seems obvious what the coaches are doing. Contrast it with when Peter Fox was in charge and you will see a big difference.
I think a lot of you attend a lot of games therefore do not notice the incremental differences. Nor does everyone...
