Watson & Norwood.
Does this mean that Tis may be having a little bit of a clear-out, to free up
some money to cover improved deals with existing squad members, and/or
look towards some better quality players.........OR does this signal the anticipated lowering of the playing/team budget?
Don't get me wrong, I am not scare mongering, but just take note of the following statistics.
Since the Sheffield Wednesday game (5-1), and forgetting the JPT, the City record reads Played 14; Won 3; Drawn 5; Lost 6.
Total points available 42 - points gained 14 = 33.33%.
Now if we continue at...
.......... Get rid of it. This is very much a destablising influence for the smaller clubs. Players should be signed and fulfill their contracts for the full season. However you try to justify the Harley transfer it is just a total sham!
IMHO the major reason is because we are short of a 1,000 or two regular supporters. For a City the size of Exeter, and its surrounding catchment area, to only get a regular 5-5.5k per home game, which is what it currently is, is poor. If only another average 1,000 came through the turnstiles...
Who'd have thought we would be at these dizzy heights in the L1 table this early in the new season. Most of us would have to pinch ourselves, but on the evidence so far, apart from two away reverses, our position is fully justified, and long may it continue. Now here comes the but, we face...
Following what appeared to be a largely negative and despondent post in the aftermath of a slightly flattereing 3-0 reverse at Bournemouth, I thought it worth pointing out, if you have not already done so, the month of September for ECFC in L1 returned 3 wins, 2 draws, and 1 defeat. Six games...
Alan Crockfords article on City's support base was a succinct summary of the situation that faces the powers that be at ECFC. However, I also find that it comes with a tinge of sadness that this reality mode will probably never be improved upon.
As expressed in the article, Tis will probably be...
For whatever reasons, the performance and result of the Orient game are somewhat dissappointing. Whilst not trying to be totally pessimistic, and retain some resemblance of sanity from this performance, especially following on from Wednesday, what would you consider is Tis's best line-up...
With possibly such a lot riding on this match, does anyone know how the team are travelling up to the North East. I would expect travelling to take place today, Friday , at the latest, allowing time to settle, and Saturday morning for a gentle run-out on a training ground. Hope so!!
Having just watched the worst game for sometime at SJP, it begs the question, What do some people at the club think the priority is?
Yes we fully understand that there are debts still being payed off, and that we have to be very careful with our finances, BUT we are in a very poor position just...
Flybe Stand ticket available for Southampton game.
I have a ticket available £21, face value, due to unexpected circumstances
I am unable to go to the game, and my contacts all have tickets.
If anyone would like this ticket please email me on [email protected]
or respond on here up to...
I have been reading and heard from friends trying to obtain tickets for this anticipated sell-out. It appears that it is pretty difficult for genuine local Ecfc supporters of many years standing to purchase tickets, just because they have not signed up to any of the club memberships/priority...
