In an interesting sort of way, I think this is actually quite an important game for us and I hope that GC and the squad are looking at it the same way. Of course, no real pressure on the result and certainly unlikely to warrant much criticism if we lose, but Oxford have been a good side over the course of this season and I think now we seem to have hit our stride again, it could be a really useful barometer to show exactly where we are at presently, and the level we would need to be at if we want to challenge for the play-offs next season. I know it's not an exact indicator as no two seasons are the same and the level towards the top of League One next year may increase or it may drop slightly, but I certainly think it can be a marker.
They've got something to play for, so if we treat it right, could be two teams properly going at it and seeing who comes out on top.
I'm going hopeful and saying the boys come out 3-2 winners in the final few minutes, back by a sun drenched (extra hopeful), rip-roaring SJP.
