Tis failed to attract a buyer for JMT at centre back last season. So left back it is this term. He' ll do ok there, so we just need to sort out a right footed right back. Remember last term, McAllister was played at right back. Woodman's a more cultured player with two footed ability. Need...
We had more than a few chances to put the game away. However, they missed a sitter of a one on one, and too easily strolled through our centre of defence for the goal. A promising youth player and a 39 year cannot be the answer to any football league centre back combination.
Too early to panic. Just need to settle into games, and inject a bit of drive and pace into our play.
Troy had a mare. It happens. Thought that only Sweeney had a decent game in the back 4. Hopefully we'll get an early goal and get some confidence back into our play on Saturday.
Should be a good move for Grimes. Wasn't going to get a game at Swansea except cup fixtures. So a season starting in the championship is an ideal opportunity to show what he can do on the pitch. He hasn't played much competitive football Since 2014, so will relish the move. Good luck to him.
Thing your memory is misleading you. Wheeler had a great start to the season last year during the first six weeks. However his form from sept to January was poor, prior to his unfortunate injury.
Still, hope he can recover that early form and help get us up nest the top of the table this term.
Don't see why so many think Nobody will come to see a young Chelsea team. We had a full house last season to what was a Liverpool youth team in the FA CUP. And what a great evening that was. Even better 43,000 came to watch the same teams in the replay.
Totally agree. Did a job for us, and has now moved on. Good luck to him, always tried his best. Not great, but a good league two attacking player who chips in with the odd top class goal.
Nice chap too.
