Totally agree with this. I have kittens everytime Cheick has to take a touch and make a pass. Haven’t read this whole thread yet but I’m amazed no one has mentioned how easily Zak Jules left us positionally vulnerable by chasing his mistakes and not dropping back. At least when Aimson came on...
Yeah, sorry about that! Great finish all the same though. 😁
I guess I should have realised when they all ran back to Reece rather than go Charlie Bananas in front of the Big Bank!
PS, good summary by Jambo, Credy and Rosencrantz on the post match reviews here.
UTC!
Thanks for that feedback, appreciated. I think we're blessed with some cracking commentators and summarisers on the Beeb.
I've listened back to the 45 minutes audio post the full time whistle on Tuesday that's currently on the BBC website and the noise from the fans is incredible.
:) Fair point - but Tuesday's match for me did have a lot of similarities..particularly as Matt was so influential in that game. Big pressure match - needed a win - bit of a freak early opening goal for the opposition - an equaliser in the first half and a late winner.
Up the City!
Thanks for this feedback Andy, really appreciated. I went up to take a look after the Orient game...l I thought it was really striking and poignant. I respected Dacre immensely. He used to post on here as Gurkha Boy, didn’t he? It’s always more than just the football for me.
