Wondering if I'm on a different planet
You stand by your assertion that flu kills more people than coronavirus?

I'd like to say that's admirable of you, but in fact it's plain darned stupid given that all reliable evidence points to the contrary. Don't forget: you claimed corona was a milder version of flu. That's absolute ********.
And your evidence is? If you check the figures from the Public Health England you will find that statistically, seasonal flu kills far more than Coronavirus has. A fact for your consideration, in USA in week 50, 5.5 out of every 100,000 population were admitted to hospital with flu and 5.5% of all deaths were flu related. And that is for 1 week!

At the turn of the year over 6 out of every 100,000 in England were admitted to hospital and 0.41 per 100,000 in ICU. Based on a population of 60million, that is 3,600 and 246 respectively in ONE week

The raw flu totals are higher because flu has spread further.
Gathered evidence so far suggest that the mortality rate for Covid-19 is much higher than flu by a factor of 20 or so. 2 to 3% at the moment with a figure of about 5% needing acute medical care.
The mortality rate for flu is below 0.1 percent.
If Covid-19 spreads nationally and you scale up the figures that's a hefty number of potential deaths and amount of acute care needed.

Not sure what all the fuss is about with toilet paper when there is an abundant supply of dock leaves. Did we learn nothing from the Scout’s visit the other day? Or was that stinging nettles? How can you tell them apart? Don’t want to give myself a valet downstairs with the wrong nature wipes.
Not sure that's much help to Pate in Arizona though, would you fancy wiping your ar$e on a cactus ? Ouch !

Now being widely reported Government plan to have all matches played behind closed doors likely to be implemented before end of week.

Argyle will not be happy as they must have been looking to benefit from a 16k gate when we visited them.

Interesting to see whether Sky will not want to or be allowed to go ahead with its planned live coverage.

Not surprised if this happens as I've seen at least one senior medical figure lobbying for the government to be more proactive. Personally I'd prefer matches to be postponed rather than played behind closed doors but presumably matches will be made available to all to watch on iFollow.

Looking like all games behind closed doors. Season ticket holders can watch on ifollow, but no football in pubs.
This would be a major game changer.
