Queens Park average attendance was up 440% last season, surely a record..From 519 in 2011-12 to 2,803 last season....The games against Rangers helped..!!...30,000 for the first visit of Rangers.
That was something I pointed to that would happen before the Exeweb meltdown, that money would filter down to the smaller clubs through an increase in gate revenue. Queens Park happen to be the lucky ones by playing at Hampden and exercising this to the maximum.

A great result for Albion Rovers in the Scottish Cup 4th round..1-0 winners against SPL Motherwell. The Wee Rovers are currently one off the bottom of the SFL pyramid.

The game was played at Hamilton, due to Cliftonhill not being suitable for such a high profile game, due to a recent arson attack. They were lucky the main stand did not burn down in that incident. It is older than the one at SJP..

In the Scottish Cup Q/Finals Albion Rovers' held Rangers at Ibrox Park today(1-1) & the 'Wee Rovers' were winning for most of the game.Rangers blushers were spared by a 75th minute equalizer.....

Found this old thread at last...

A good turnout of Hibernian followers at Carlisle this evening just over 1,000..Not bad for a PSF.

A documentary on BBC Scotland about Fort William FC(The Fort)on Tues 30th July at 2200.

Sky 457. Virgin 162. Freesat 109.

The club is out on a limb in the Highland League & finish bottom every season with a few thrashings just for good measure..

After a couple of years without winning & shipping 245 goals last season,Fort William WON tonight against Nairn County 5-2 !!!

What fate that the 5th tier club in Scottish football had a red letter day 24 hours after the excellent TV programme about their struggles last season was aired.

Potentially interesting opening day fixture in Scottish Two twixt newly promoted Cove Rangers against the other most recent newcomers Edinburgh City. Tempted to move my previous allegiance to Berwick Rangers towards the Aberdeen based side
