The Blue Brazil gave Edinburgh's other SPL team a run for their money as well...A goal up in 20 seconds, though losing the tie 2-3..

After the last tread went AWOL after about 5 years on the forum,i have started one again if anyone is intersted.

Partick Thistle are back in the SPL after a 7 year absence. That makes two Glasgow teams in the SPL again....Rangers are finishing with a wimper in Division 3,being turned over 2-1 at Ibrox Park by the 'Blue Toon'... aka Peterhead.

I once drove from Edinburgh to Berwick just to see the football stadium . Got invited in for a looksee and wandered out onto the pitch . Does this make me the biggest Saddo on here ? . I hope so . I was on the clock at the time waiting for spares .
Also been to Fort William , Meadowbank Thistle and the old St Mirren place .

Backing Gary Caldwell, thanks Matt and good luck.
Caught the pre match of the Rangers v Berwick match. I know it is their first step back to the spl but seemed a bit ridiculous for a packed Ibrox to be celebrating like they had won the spl itself.

Auchinleck Talbot beat Linlithgow Rose 1-0 in the final of the Emirates Scottish Junior Cup today. 20 years ago I was there with Tayport when we were beaten 1-0 by Alan Rough's Glenafton.

I went to Edinburgh a few years back and decided that as Ive always had a weird interest in the fortunes of Stenhousemuir, I had to make the trip to Stirlingshire to visit Ochilview Park, home of the mighty Warriors!

A fantastic little club who could not do enough on my visit, still got the pennant I was given from the club!

Who would live in a house like this?
I think it is about time that more respect was given to Hibs and Aberdeen for finishing last season with more points in 7th and 8th positions than 6th placed Dundee United.

It is not just in any league where this can happen. Only in Scotland.

But isn't the point that sides in the bottom half play the other bottom sides in last round of games, whilst those at the top play the other top sides. So that sort of thing is quite likely to happen I would have thought.
