Football Conference Fixtures Released

The Conference released its fixtures for the 2013/14 season this morning.

The opening day fixtures has plenty of interest.

Of the 2 former League 2 sides, Barnet and Edgar Davids will host the North Champions Chester. This will be played at Barnet’s new Hive stadium.

Aldershot, if they avoid liquidation this week will travel to Grimsby.

Promoted FC Halifax Town, travel to the Abbey Stadium to to play Cambridge United. Conference South champions

Welling United will play Promotion Play-Off losers Wrexham. Salisbury City, promoted with Welling, will host Tamworth.

Opening games will take place on Saturday, August 10th:-

Forest Green Rovers v Hyde FC
Grimsby Town v Aldershot Town
Hereford United v Braintree Town
Kidderminster Harriers v Gateshead

Woking v Lincoln City
Wrexham v Welling United
