Don't know if there are any snooker fans out there, but a local lad has just qualified for the World Championships at the Crucible Theater in Sheffield. Sam Baird won 4 matches to qualify for the Championships, including one against former semi-finalist Joe Perry. He's from Tivvy way, though don't know if he's a City fan.
