Yep, those 74 million votes will only embolden the 'less government, less regulation and lower taxes' types. They've tried out the buffoon to test the populist waters, next up it'll be somebody a lot smarter like a Cruz to continue the crusade. The quest to 'drain the swamp' has not ended.

Johnson > Sunak noises is our very own version playing out this side of the pond.
Don't overrate Cruz, Elgy. He hasn't been very discrete about supporting Trump and pushing the "election fraud" lie over the last couple of months and everyone knows what he's up to.
In addition, he has linked himself indirectly to the insurrection, which might bite him in the arse. Academically he's smart, but I don't think he could ever replace Trump in
the eyes of the Trumpeters.

I don't, he's one of many. Chose him because he's Cuban stock, as I said before, the charismatic buffoon of a front man has had its day, IMO next step will be the second/third generation immigrant as the leading 'face' of right wing neoliberalism. Not unlike the hardline Patel and Sunak being groomed over here. I could of course be talking complete conspiratorial nonsense, just a thought.

Reports that Trump (Loser) will have his own sending off ceremony that he and his team have organised at an air force base on Wednesday morning, With a band and red carpet etc. No doubt a speech about how his win was "Stolen" just to keep his "People" happy.

He won't need a red carpet.
He can just step on his tie.
