That would depend on your definition of 'decent'. Prolific at Team Bath, got another shot at the Football League at Charlton & Notts County, then fell back into non-league again. Hardly one that got away...View attachment 15326
I liked Basham, didn't realise he left us in 2005...19 years ago!

Ah, sorry thought the discussion was Basham.

Kernow - battering a drunken Octopus
Billy Jones came in for some largely unwarranted stick for a while before the boo boys moved onto a new target.

Sunny Exeter again
FWIW Andy Roscoe did have a very good left foot and scored some cracking goals for us.
I remember a certain former Exeter manager. Youll know the one, the one you'd imagine being popular and liking a drink being out with his team mates on Gandy Street mid season perhaps a Wednesday night telling some friends of mine to all him 'Toenails' on account of him being so far up the then manager's are that's all you could see. A friend did, Andy didn't see the funny side it's fair to say, got pretty nasty.

It's fair to say we could have a whole thread on the lack of professionalism but sometimes funny behaviour of City players in the late 90s early 00s. I have some vivid memories of the antics of a few. Probably the topic of another thread, McCarthy while ***** for us for example was hilarious it has to be said.
