We are third in the league for failing to score - in 18 games we haven't found the back of the net, which has been painful to say the least

One thing I would say is the form we suffered from this season hasn’t been unusual, numerous teams have gone through a long winless patch this season, Lincoln are also one of them teams who went through it with their current manager (who arrived during this season) are now in the form of their lives

Glad the club held out in not sacking Caldwell and we’ve come out the other side of it looking fairly comfortable now

The home advantage stat says it all there, and is the main thing that needs to be sorted for next season

We will lose important paying customers, the question is how many?

Our worst form in 28 years, let's not play it down

GC has turned it round since January and that's admirable

The pressure he felt was absolutely right at the time

Careful, the clappers will be saying that that means we're going down Watford's managerial turnover path...
Aren’t we all clappers for now ?

See the new manager ‘bounce’ is just not happening for the Us. Talk is of Garry Monk flouncing and them becoming L1’s Watford !

It was right, the manner of the Fleetwood and Bolton games was indefensible however in context of the league itself, it hasn’t been just us, you could throw in quite a few teams who’ve gone through it Charlton, Lincoln, Carlisle, Port Vale, Cambridge, Fleetwood and Cheltenham - Sacking managers hasn’t benefited a lot of these teams

Just think context as to what the problem we had was is important and I think we all knew problem number 1 wasn’t Caldwell, it was our lack of experienced Striker relying on two players with barely any professional goals between them

Whilst it isn’t necessarily an experienced striker thats turned our fortune around, the board did promise to support Caldwell in January, we recruited well and in positions needed to be filled with the lack Nombe, Mitchell and Trevitt and the results and position were now in show Gary’s repaid the faith shown.

Whilst stats can always be manipulated to suit an agenda it is interesting to see that if the bad run is excluded then we have 44 points from 26 games. This rates at just over 1.69 points per game and over a 46 game season would be 77 points, almost certainly in with a play off shout.
The stat will be interesting once the season has concluded.

I mean that is a huge manipulation to remove that run 😂

We are where we are, which is actually decent

Personally I would look at that doomer run and consider the fact that GC bounced back from it as a real positive

Own it

If you take away all of our draws and defeats then we would have 39 points from a possible 13. Over the season this would mean 138 points and a league title.

Unfortunately we did have a patch of 4 points from a possible 39 in a 100 day period and draw all those other games to ruin what would have been a perfect season.
