Someone had too…

Need 3/4 extensions and some early free transfers.

Can see Diabate and Cox extending (ooh er) and us taking the option on Jules and potentially Watts if he plays well.

Top two focus areas are clearly GK and CF, when we’ll have no one in those positions come July 1st…

Will need around 11 signings in addition to extensions in my opinion:
2 GK (Sinisalo, Lee, Woods - can see MacDonald extending)
2 CB (Aimson, Hartridge)
1 RWB (Rankine)
2 CDM (Woods, Kite)
1 CM (Carroll
1 AM (Harris, Wildschut)
2 CF (Eisa, Muskwe)

Losing those players in brackets leave us with:

MacDonald, Sweeney, Diabate, Jules, Fitzwater, Niskanen, Purrington, Harper, Cummins, Cole, Aitchison, Watts, Alli, Cox and all the young pros.

Not too horrific on reflection, but a lot of work to replace with L1 quality players.

Are Diabate and Cox under contract for next season?

Fitzwater has a lot to do to show he’s worth a contract for next season.

Hopefully some of the young pros can establish themselves in pre season to alleviate the amount of signings needed

There's only been around 750 posts on both players :ROFLMAO:

We might not take up the option on Watts and not offer MacDonald anything further and if Cox is also out of contract that's three more replacements needed.

Fitzwater signed a 2 year contract until 2025.

I’d feel happier if that was Cheick

Can see Tom Carroll being offered another year, Ryan Woods could possibly be around for a couple years providing the loan move goes well…Hopefully get two or three permanent signings in earlier before the start of preseason training.
