Body Bag or Police Van?
Serious answer - Body bag as he will want "suicide by police" rather than the rest of his life in prison. The police will be (understandably in this instance provided it is not cold blooded state sanctioned murder) somewhat trigger-happy and he will oblige them when cornered.

Must be difficult though - he's got three kids. He is one messed up f*ck.

24 hour news at its very worst.

Rothbury will be remembered along with Hungerford, Dunblane, Soham etc.

The moral of the story is........never screw a bird whose (ex)chap is in prison, no matter how "exciting" it may seem...........

He would have 'made a move' by now if he wanted to die tonight.

No copper there wants to pull the trigger, they are family men too. They don't want to go home being the 'trigger happy marksman'.

He'll get a soft ride in the courts. Remember he's not a 'cop killer', he killed his love rival, before reloading his weapon with a non-lethal charge to shoot his ex-partner. He then took a 'pot shot' at a traffic cop. His mental health will no doubt be a key issue.

The BBC headline is "Man resembling gunman Moat found". Wouldn't it be funny if a Raoul Moat look-a-like was sat there with a false gun and on the other side of town the real Raoul Moat was slaying a primary school full of kids.

Now, I've got a sense of humour as much as the next man, but........
