Noone thinks this do they? Whether theres someone who wants to invest who'd do better than the trust is a whole different question. Not exactly overwhelmed with real world examples at approximately equivalent clubs.
Yeah, classic strawman, certain Turks viewing this might be kinda amazed, that anti-trust City fans are using this thread of all threads to push against our ownership model.

No one on here is pushing against our ownership model, All someone said was that there are people (According to the TUST) willing to invest in a Devon club and there have been people who have answered a posting about a different ownership model saying something like "Who would or where are these people who would invest?" FWIW if someone buys TUFC with Osborne calling the selling shots, They'd have to have pretty deep pockets to pay for the club and pay its debts, Even if Osborne was willing to take a bit of a hit, Nope I'd wait for the administrator to be appointed, That gets Osborne out of the picture and imo doesn't deserve a penny.

Always been curious what kind of wage Gary Johnson was on. He was a big name for a number of years in the lower leagues and can't believe he'd come cheap

Dont know if that was a dig at me. All I meant was, when we were on the poor run some people were questioning whether the Trust were the best people to take us forward. Some retorted that there has never been any interest in the club, and that we wouldn't be attractive to anyone, being away from London and all that.
Anyway, doesn't seem like TUST are interested or in a position to take over TUFC so it will be interesting to see how that goes.

If he is, You wouldn't think at his age he'd want to become involved?

Assuming he's still alive, he'd be pushing 80. As an aside, stumbled across this – which is quite interesting in the context of what's going on at Plainmoor now – when I was trying to find out Bateson's age:
