And Stockley was scoring a goal every other game not one in three, which ain't to be sniffed at, as Sam has.We got 750k for Stockley and all his goals were in league 2

And not forgetting the last player we sold for a seven figure sum, Joel Randall. If we can persuade someone to pay over a million for an injury prone kid who had only played 30 games of League football then I would have thought we could get at least that for Sam.Don't we currently have two players in our team who have commanded a c.£1m transfer fee in Harper and Scott ? Ii doubt that anyone on these boards we consider that either are worth anything approaching those figures but Clubs nevertheless did. Strikers fetch a premium and are hard to obtain. There is no point letting him go cheap if we are unable to obtain a suitable replacement. Perhaps we should consider offering a new extended contract at better terms. Even if it is only an extension until June 2025, it effectively retains his transfer value for an extra year, and in the short term enhances it !
This comes across as an agent trying to drum up a bit of business, or create a bidding war.

He's the next David Platt don't ya know !Agyei was discussed in the 2020 summer transfers thread. I can’t remember if there was a news story claiming City interest or if it was an ITK "we’re signing Agyei" exclusive.
Will go Salford from that list I'd imagine ...
