On a Ross County theme, I was at their match last night at Alloa Athletic. In addition to the Gary Warren link there was some other good former player interest with Jordan Tillson playing the whole game (very energetic box to box performance; picked up a yellow) and then Owura Edwards who came on as a mid second half sub. Owura did some electric runs and seems to have quickly endeared himself to the Staggies fans. Also of Exeter (if not Exeter City) interest was Ben Purrington (born Exeter) starting for County. The visitors won 2-0 but Alloa missed a penalty with a woeful attempt by former Republic of Ireland striker Connor Sammon. Only a second goal with the last kick of the game settled the Ross nerves.
