Not picking up any second balls and gifting possession in transition far too much.

They have far too much space and time in between city's midfield.

Hartridge and Ray excellent.

Playing out similarly to Sutton, though Walsall are a much better footballing side.

We started really well, then there was a problem with the goal and after the restart we've lost our way. In open play Walsall look toothless, so we can definitely still get something here
It says it all that Chas has been the best performer for City this half. If any side looks toothless it's City. Nombe has barely touched the ball and we can't get our wing backs in the game.

Also whats the point of lumping the ball forward from Dawson. Nobody is going to win it.

That's a pretty good turn out from Walsall, especially given all the doom and gloom from them in the build-up.

Been really impressed by some of Walsall's slick one-touch passing, although we've made it much too easy for them at times.

Not sure about that. Ray was fortunate that his mistake to let Miller through wasn't punished with a goal.

Cooley and Archie going through a pretty intense warm up right now. Wouldn't be surprised if they are not on immediately
