You mean they've offered to Bale them out?
(Not that the cost of a couple dozen Oyster cards would exactly break the bank.) Although a set of GWR 'Pay-on-the-Day Peak Rate tickets to Cornwall might have given Mr Levy the tremors...lucky for him that the Argiggle defence seems to even more inept than ours! Small mercies, eh?

I am glad they don’t include some stats about biggest wins/ heaviest defeats, bearing in mind our 11-0 and 12-2 drubbings in two legged ties!

Fond memories .

Unfortunately good League Cup memories are few & far between for Grecian followers.
Like the FAC the competition has lost its shine & interest for supporters.
Seen some great League Cup ties watching the Grecians but they are all 30 plus years ago now.

Indeed. 1968 was a good year for the League Cup. Stood at the end of the cowshed watching us beat Wednesday 3-1 in early September sunshine, then on to White Hart Lane. Wednesday were 2nd in Division 1 and we were (iirc) 4th from bottom of Division 4.

As it wasn't their fault, I think Orient should be given the £125k they would have got from tv for the game.
