Burts crisps are rather good. (y)

Would be nice if they told us the name of the teddie that was used as well as the name of matey who did the cooking.
Approach with caution

Plymouth’s favourite crisp maker Burts Potato Chips is to change its name to BurtsSnacks as it reveals it will sell £54.9million of crunchy treats in 2019.
There are big VAT implications on whether something is a crisp or a starch based snack. Bit like Jaffa 'cakes' or biscuits.

Not a fan of 'posh' crisps. The cheaper the better.

S&V Chipsticks. Love Discos every now and again. Wheat Crunchies (used to love the Worcester sauce flavour but I think an ingredient got banned?).

LOVE the cheap and nasty 10p crisps (Space Raiders, spicy tomato Transformers etc)

Can't go wrong with Monster Munch. P&C Shells. Onion Rings...

I see 'Fish and Chips' have made a comeback. Used to love them.

Seabrook really nice too for 'normal' crisps.

I love crisps

Best crisps:
  • Real Crisp Co. Roast Ox Flavour
  • Burts Firecracker Lobster (haven't seen these around for a while
  • Thai Sweet Chilli Sensations.

Best things that come in bags but aren't crisps:

  • Smoky Bacon Wheat Crunchies.
  • Cheap supermarket own brand salted tortillas chips.
  • Nik Naks - not the scampi ones though.

Gone but not forgotten:

  • Purple Doritos

We used to live on Tangy Toms and Smoky Bacon Piglets. Think they were probably 6p a packet at the time!

I can't think of a flavour I wouldn't eat. I like them all. There is a flavour for most occasions or mood swings. That's what makes them so reassuringly yummy.

Sounds like a thread started by Karl Pilkington and his Monster Munch! :ROFLMAO:

Expensive crisps are rubbish. They are so high in fat it's unreal. Especially when compared to cheap crisps. Also because the bags are so big it's easy to get carried away.

Golden Wonder Onion Rings i'd go for as the best crisps.

Has anyone ever managed to open some Pringles, take a couple and put back the remainders in the cupboard? I have not.

The other thing about Pringles is that ii cannot eat one at a time. I have been known occasionally to spoon 5 or 6 in at once. :sneaky:
