So pleased to see young Seymour involved in the build-up to the goal. Hope he gets lots more opportunities in the coming weeks.

And was that 5 academy products on the pitch at the end of the game?
Arguably one of the most positive outcomes from tonight (and, possibly, this season)
There might be a few set backs and slips along the way but successfully easing the home-growns into "grown-up" football is surely worth a few disappointments rather than spunking hard-earned on a clique of superannuated old crocks (eh Tis??)

i Enjoyed that good atmosphere deserved the win. But at one point some c*** started chanting f*** the pope and the IRA, laughable and nothing to do with city.. pure embarrassment I love the legion and would hate it if they weren’t there but someone needs to step up and tell the idiot(s) to leave there section chanting this nonsense! First time I’ve been frustrated with you lot to be honest! Anyway UTC!

2 goals in 3 starts, the Fishmonger needs to keep his first team shirt.

I hope that Fisher and Seymour get the opportunity now to develop a partnership

Anyone know how many Cambridge fans there were this evening just out of interest?

In RaWZ we trust....Amen.
That was hard work watching.
The only bit of quality from a couple of poor teams on the night settled the game.
Anyone watching from Hartlepool would not be too worried.
Anyway into round 2 & the coffers boosted by £36k
