When I last emailed the Trust about this they said they were looking into moving back, but it seemingly isn't so straightforward.
Why isn’t it so straightforward?

The trust board don’t think straight in the first place. After a successful women’s World Cup and more girls than ever playing then now is the time to build on it in the City.

That’s not the forward thinking by them and won’t gain new fans, they should be saying we want to be playing in Exeter.

What are the public transport links to cullompton on a Sunday afternoon from Exeter ? Any Trains there or maybe fans could take a 2hr round trip by Bus for a home game. Not encouraging for families without a car.

How many business in Exeter would sponsor a team playing in cullompton and how many more would of sponsored the women’s team if they played in Exeter.

The ones running the women’s team are not fit to be in charge.

Aside from playing their games outside of Exeter, which they've tried to fix for this season but haven't been able to; what else are they doing so wrong that they aren't fit to be in charge?

The team just got promoted back to the highest level we've been in recent years, only now we have a development centre and a reserve team alongside it.

They are happy as hants said to be playing at cullompton says a lot about them.

Not sure they have really tried to fix where they play and Exeter City Football Club have a pitch that is available on a Sunday.

You have to question those running the women’s set up and the board/trust.

Yes they won the league playing outside of Exeter says it all.

So, just to confirm, your only issue with the running of the women's team is that they don't play in Exeter?

That is something the women's team themselves confirmed they were looking at fixing over the summer. Obviously there wasn't anything that worked better than the current set up. Regardless of the fact they are based up in Cullompton, they play a large number of games at the C&F, especially in the winter months. The only reason they're not based out there permanently is because all games would have to kick off an hour later because the academy are using the facilities on Sundays.

So why haven’t they started the season at SJP? Surely that is the most PR savvy way of promoting city’s women’s team and then come winter play at C&F don’t have a problem with that if there is enough room for the potential amount of new fans.

Exeter City Women playing so far out of Exeter is not a good advert for women or girls.

Why did the club not get a top pre season friendly and play it at SJP?

Have you asked the Women's team these questions?

Because we've already discussed ad nauseam that the women playing regularly at SJP would have a detrimental effect on what is essentially an outdated pitch (technologically speaking). If we were to invest in a modern pitch at SJP (for a considerable sum of money), playing weekly fixtures would be plausible, but right now it is not. There's also the issue that the women don't attract enough fans to make the games feasible, but I agree on your point that this is something that needs working on and playing far away doesn't help with that.

The club barely got a "top" friendly for the men's team. How were they going to get one for the women?

Should the women's team be playing in Exeter? Definitely. Has it been looked into? From what I've heard and read it sounds very much like it. I'm sure they will in time.

Whoever is in charge of getting the friendlies for the women’s team has not got any good contacts then which is disappointing.

So where has all the transfer money gone that should of been invested in the pitch ?

Think the pitch is an excuse for not wanting the women’s team there.

You said the women’s team don’t attract enough supporters and playing in cullompton will build the fan base ?

The women’s team has missed the gravy boat.
