Corbyn bins talks with Tories, Seems sensible to me, May hasn't moved her "Red Lines" talks were going nowhere and when she leaves any agreement they might have made could have been ripped up when the new Tory Leader is in place, Wasted exercise on both parties
Too right. Best to walk away from that one. Toxic Theresa

Did Labour move any of theirs?

Maybe if May had let Labour into her plans a year ago it would have been more constructive. Unfortunately she is a dimwit who thinks she knows best, which is quite risible. Labour knows it's a total waste of time to have talks with May now and it is a poisoned chalice to do so. The responsibility for BREXIT is all down to the Tories, and no amount of obfuscation and diversion can hide that fact. From the chinless wonder onwards it has been the Tories' baby. Funny isn't it : a referendum which leads to a decision which nobody knows how to implement.

Six months ago Taiwan had a referendum on gay marriage. 70% voted against gay marriage. Today in Taiwan gay marriage has been legalized. Obviously the Taiwanese understand the principle that a referendum is advisory, and should not be written in stone.

More on the chinless wonder from the Grauniad

"You can’t have power without responsibility. But Cameron’s dream was to have neither and still be prime minister. That was the real message of the Big Society: “You do it!” Anything that goes right, he takes the credit. Anything that goes wrong… well, it’s the will of the people.".

Was there a single person anywhere in the country who thought these talks would be productive?

Just May's last ditch attempt to co-opt Labour into her totally rejected withdrawal deal. Just seen May on the box. She's stressed. Not surprised. Think she'll need a bloody good holiday after this : don't wish her ill-health.

Not me, no. With the Conservative "red lines" and Labour's position being "We want whatever the Tories don't because, politics", there wasn't a hope in hell of the talks succeeding.

Sorry Jason this is her mess, She thought she could do this all herself and everyone would fall into line, For TWO years she would not listen to anyone else, When she lost the vote for the WA for the third time, she then seeked cross party consensus, It was not for Labour to clear her mess up
