Looks brilliant, SJP will be rocking with away fans making noise too.

Any chance this will be open for the Swindon game? It's looking close to completion. Asking for a Swindon mate...

(I know FGR has been mentioned as the opening date)

For anyone who wants them. The recent photos I took from the highest point of the student accommodation behind the Big Bank. Zip filed hi-res versions. 28MB.

A couple of other improvements to SJP being undertaken or in the pipeline but are not so obvious;

A new and vastly improved CCTV system.

Astro turf to be placed on the areas run on by Linesmen to prevent excess damage to the edges of the pitch and improve appearance. It may even improve their eyesight!
Any more news regarding the possibility of a giant scoreboard/TV.

Sorry i've no idea.

But personally i think that the one we had on trial was excellent and if a suitable position could be found that gave good views to as many as possible it would be money well spent. It would be a nice little earner, as one George Cole used to say in his alter ego, what with the advertising etc that it could be used for, as well as Team news and oh yes, the score. It might even be able to be seen in USA if it was big enough and possibly positioned in the gap between the NOG and the BB!
