Kevin McDonald signs for Bradford City

Bradford City have confirmed the signing of former Exeter City midfielder Kevin McDonald on a two-year deal.

Kevin McDonald confirmed on Saturday that he wouldn’t be accepting the contract offer from the Grecians. It was widely rumoured that he would be signing for the Bantams.

The 34 year old has made 552 appearances in all competitions in England and Scotland, starting back in September 2005 when making his début for Dundee in a 2-0 defeat away to Hibernian. Since then he’s played for Burnely, Scunthorpe, Notts County, Sheff Utd, Wolves, Fulham and Dundee Utd before signing a short term deal with the Grecians in January 2023.

McDonald took a season out following an illness in 2021,and eventually had a kidney transplant using a kidney from his brother, he retuned to football with Dundee Utd in February 2022.
