Clinton Morrison staying for the rest of the Season

Exeter City have confirmedĀ  that Clinton Morrison will remain with the club until the end of the season.nichols_morrison

Clinton first joined the Grecians in November 2014, then signed a new agreement whereby he would continue at St James Park until the end of January.

A favourite of many fans, he’s now scored twice for Exeter, both televised games. The part-time TV pundit has scored an overhead in City’s 3-3 draw with Stevenage at the Park, then in the 3-0 win over Didcot Town in the FA Cup.

He’ll be available for the televised game against Liverpool in the FA Cup, a side that he’s well against in the past.

Paul Tisdale said on the signing

All players bring something different, and Clinton certainly has done that. He’s enjoying every minute of it, and that shows through every day in the way he comes to work. I doubt very much that he would drive down to Exeter if he didn’t enjoy doing it. He hasn’t been a regular starter for us, but he has played his part, and I’d like to keep the option of playing him, or bringing him off the bench, with us for the rest of the season.
