Steve Tully Takes Over the Reigns at Truro City

After the departure, yesterday, of manager Steve Massey and his coaches Glynn Hooper and Graeme Kirkup, the Club have moved quickly to appoint former Exeter City defender Steve Tully as manager until the end of the season.

In dismissing Steve Massey, the Chairman Peter Masters said:-

I explained that I felt the existing management had taken the team as far as it could and there was a need for change now if Truro City is going to make a serious challenge to win the League next season and gain promotion back into the Conference South and beyond.

Truro City sit 19th in the Southern League Premier Division. His first game in charge will be at Poole Town on Saturday.

Steve Tully currently manages the Exeter City Ladies team and has been involved with training with City Football in the Community set-up. Tully has also been working with the Torquay United youth set-up.
