Conference and BT Sport Announce First Set of TV Games

BT Sport and the Football Conference have announced the first games to be televised in the coming season.

  • Sunday 11th August. 12 noon. Cambridge United v FC Halifax Town. Moved from Saturday 10th August.
  • Sunday 26th August. 5.30pm. Hyde FC v Grimsby Town. Moved from the Bank holiday, Monday 26th August.
  • Sunday 1st September/Friday 30th August. Still being negotiated. To be moved from Saturday 31st August.
  • Saturday 7th September. 5.30pm. Luton Town v Grimsby Town. To be moved from 3pm.
  • Friday 13th September. 7.45pm. Wrexham v Luton Town. Moved from Saturday, 14th September.

So, Luton and Grimsby to be shown twice. No reason supplied as to why the 3rd game has not been announced.  But a reasonable chance, if the authorities agree, that it will be Wrexham at home to Chester FC.
