Let’s Just Enjoy Ourselves

As our season peters out with 4 disastrous defeats for the Grecians, we travel to AFC Wimbledon. The mood will be low among the travelling fans. However, the game a sell out for home fans as well as for the Grecians.

However, the season isn’t over. Plus we still have a chance to make those play-offs.

But the real message has to be “let’s go and enjoy ourselves”. Find a decent pub/Cafe beforehand. Meet up with friends and acquaintances, catch up on gossip and relax.

Maybe if we relax, the players will do so as well. AFC Wimbledon will be tense, they need 3 points to help escape the trapdoor back to non league football. We as a team, we as fans need to capitalise on that frailty and ignore our own problems (injuries and low confidence) play some good football. We had a good half hour at Rotherham, much of that might have been down to Rotherham taking their foot off the pedal, but that should have given the players confidence.
