Tom Nichols Recalled from Loan Spell at Hereford United

With some concerns over injuries to their strike force Exeter City this afternoon recalled young Tom Nichols back from his loan spell at Hereford United.

With injury doubts for Gow, Cureton and Bauza, the manager, Paul Tisdale, had a too thin bench to provide options. Reminiscent of our injury crisis that started our season last year, Tisdale has gone in to action. With 4 wins and a draw being our last 5 results, maybe comparisons with last season are unfair. But no doubt measures needed to be taken swiftly.

John O’Flynn is in good form, but clearly the manager thought that options and cover are needed.

Tom Nichols has made 9 appearances in the Conference for Hereford United. Starting 4 and appearing as a substitute in 5. Scoring 1 goal, against Alfreton. It was only a week ago that the loan spell was extended by a further month.
