We won promotion the night of the Southend game, won the league the following saturday against Scarborough. :whistle:

It sure was, but wasn't Oxford the year before more exhilarating? Maybe it was the penalties, the relief, the fact that we had never been to Wembley....

Me too, am I right in thinking we were never ahead at any point in the tie?
I always remember thinking after the first leg that it was far from over and we could do it.

Some unbelievable performances Gill and dare I say it Lee P (until he went off he was a beast)
