I remember that Malcs. Lost very heavily by five or maybe even six at Millwall so the whole team went back a couple of days later to play their reserves. And promptly lost very heavily by five (I think) again. Was early 80s if it was Godfrey in charge.

Yep..It was 81/82 when the reserves played in the London Midweek League(think that’s what it was called)

Much laughter & embarrassment when they lost that one too,though i seem to recall it was 1-0.
