This might be of interest to Grecian travellers who like their football history:

I hope they are able to do it.
A link on the same page takes you to the architect's design for current town centre development.
Compare and contrast building design ...

I wonder if this will be of any use to anyone travelling to Wigan or any of the other away days.

In RaWZ we trust....Amen.
The Grecians first visit to the DW Stadium.
Last played Wigan away in 1995/96 whilst they were still at Springfield Park.

And I’ll be there to see it 🙂
Mrs Bridgy, who unfortunately (but probably very sensibly) isn’t a City aficionado, usually goes to the pictures whenever we’re on an away day Saturday.
But rather shamefully Wigan apparently doesn’t currently have a cinema!
So she’ll probably be ensconced in the local Wetherspoons for the duration with her Kindle and an unlimited supply of coffee (or potentially something stronger as I’ll be driving).

Well the way we are playing you may want to sit in there with her :)

This will be the first new ground for me since Covid. It was a toss-up between Barnsley and Wigan. Having seen two home defeats to Wigan this season, I am not confident that my decision-making is sound.
For some strange reason, we tend to perform better in Yorkshire than Lancashire.

We'll be going. Another new ground for me, not expecting too much though!
