With Cureton signing for Orient and a list of other players that may leave....will we have the fire power all over the pitch to push for a playoff place or let alone stay in the league? ;)

Loving the free flowing entertaining football at S
Early days , still time for players to come in.

Currently id say the starting 11 is a midtable/lower midtable side - with the correct additions there isn still a playoff push in City.

Not scared at all, Bauza and Nardiello will be the key to a 2nd place finish.

In Tis we Trust as long as we still play attractive football mid table will be fine. There really is no point in talking about play offs or automatic promotion we would not stay up in the championship. A better home record this year with maybe two home defeats the same away record as last season would be fantastic but a side that concedes 73 goals is always going to struggle unless you can score over a 100 like Peterborough. We need the away end sorted and the old grandstand gone. Average home gate of 6,500 a big money transfer selling then maybe the Championship. The most important thing we MUST stay in this League.

If were not doing a reserve team this season, and loaning players out that would free extra wages up + Cureton's gone, so thats his crappy wages gone, so we can easily get a few quality players in!

But we are doing a reserve team, just not entering the League. That said, it's true, this will free up a fair bit of cash, Perryman said as much, and with the savings on wages of Cureton and the fringe players we've released, there must be enough for at least 2 first team level players.

I hope the selection criteria is that they must be top half of League 1 standard or better, though, otherwise let's save the money and try the youngsters at first.

Although most of Exeweb would like a dramatic announcement soon of two top signings there's plenty of time, and I'm sure the club's management collectively are not sitting on their thumbs.

As has been said on other threads, this management lark is not easy when you have a small budget and are a long way from London, but we've done alright in recent seasons so it's far to early to be scared, still less panicky.
