The pub on Stalybridge station, excellent 10/10. The bar at Manchester Victoria, the Beer House, fairly awful. The bar at Hebden Bridge station, good selection of gins. Stopped of for a pint at the Scarborough Hotel by Leeds station, and finished the evening at the bar on Doncaster station which had some nice real ales, but might not be available for use by anyone in colours tomorrow.
The Mall, Bristol, for a very welcome sit down after a day at the zoo, old man carol. There was a very loud table of people in there who were mildly annoying.
The Plough,Doncaster...A great old style pub which was in the town centre..Lounge & Bar & the slight whiff of BO as one walked in...A old boy was refused service due to having too much booze,it was 1pm.!!...Wonderful old boozer, the type that disappeared from.the South West, years ago.
Was working in Minehead at the week-end. Friday night was spent in the excellent Old Ship aground quaffing pints of Cotleigh 25 listening to Levi and the Bean.
Saturday night at the local Weatherspoons, The Duke of Wellington, for even more copious quantities of Exmoor Gold at just £2.55 a pint !
