I like Harris but he isn't Championship standard, surely?
The stats suggest not. However, his development curve since coming to us, suggests he might be a punt that could quickly adapt to the level. If I were him, I'd look to a loan in familiar surroundings, at a progressive club that will play him every week. Any ideas 😉?

I agree but I would imagine that Fulham will be looking for him to go to a Championship club. QPR would be a good local fit for him I would think.
We will be playing QPR next season if they aren't careful.

I think you might need to look at the table who they have to play (three points above the drop zone with Preston, Leeds and Coventry to play, all chasing promotion/play off places) and re-evaluate.

Reevaluate and looking forward to a trip to West London next season. I've never watched football from a loft before 😉

The only time I’ve been to QPR’s ground was in the 80s when they had their (terrible) plastic pitch.
It was a league match against Arsenal in Charlie Nicholas’ day.
I’d love to go back and watch City play there in a league match.
Plus there are two Premier Inns in nearby Hammersmith and the Berry’s Coach (which is the company City’s team use) has a superfast service from Bridgwater direct into their bus station.

Really hope we can persuade Fulham to let him have another season with us likewise with Chelsea and Rankine

I thin Caldwell is absolutely right that playing loads of games at this level, at least for the first half of the season, is what Luke Harris needs most. He might be able to get a loan at a higher level, but if he does he probably won't play much. At City he would be very likely to start nearly every game. And during that six months he'd still only be 19, so plenty of time for loans higher up the pyramid.
Agreed. I don't know how many people watched the interview with Tavistock's manager when they signed Harrison King on loan recently but he was saying exactly this - that we are happy to send our youngsters there because we know they get played even if they have the odd bad game.

I'm not sure how comfortable I am with that when we take players on loan. It seems high risk but as long as we target the right players it can work. Harris has improved over the course of his time with us.

Yes a nice easy location to get to and have stayed regularly in the PI across the Thames from and close to Kew Gardens

The Brentford one, right by the M4, is decent too.
