3. Alabama 3
[y] Good stuff, I've been listening to them for absolutely years but went to see them at the Lemon Grove a year or so ago and it was a fantastic gig.

Tricky to pick my favourite bands and certainly can't do it in any order, reckon it'll be:

Pink Floyd
Orchestra Baobab
Radiohead
Daft Punk
Muse

Those who have read my top 10 albums may notice some similarities :D

they're one of the best live acts around, Alabama 3, i've seen them 4 or 5 times now, since hearing 'ain't going to Goa' on Andy Kershaw - been a while since i went to the Lemon Grove.. saw Transglobal Underground and Dreadzone there.. and snubbed Radiohead when i should have known better.. i remember walking through the Lemon Grove as they were setting up and i just couldn't be arsed. I lived about two minutes away..my loss, that was around the time of the Bends elpee, 1995

Very difficult shout but mine would have to be;-

UK Subs
The Ruts
Killing Joke
The Chameleons
Mega City Four

Missed off too many to mention . Bit worried about the amount of people who have included the Smiths !. Probably the worst band to come out of Manchester.

Good shout for the Sprouts and Aztec Camera. Th Sprouts would have been in my next 5 along with Cocteau Twins, Thomas Dolby, Radiohead and Talk Talk.
