I expect Nigel Pearson is waiting for a phone call, that would be some kind of poetic justice and strangely I think he's the sort of bloke that could actually save Leicester (again).

A massive step backwards if you ask me. I think there might be another Italian dining at the Leicester top table soon.

If we had Leicester's money I would have been in favour of PT getting sacked in early November. With our resources we are never going to find anyone remotely as good as Tis. He has always been punching below his weight because he prefers the freedom he gets at ECFC. He has consistently tried to build, and if our financial situation didn't always mean we had to sell our best players we'd be in the Championship with Tis by now. Luckily the extra financial stability of the last year or two has meant we've held on to key players and now we're seeing the results.
Agree with this though maybe upper League One rather than Championship. Whilst we would never have been able to keep everyone, I believe somebody posted a line up a little while ago of players that are still playing and made for a very strong starting XI indeed.

Don't think that will happen. He left on very bad terms.

Don't agree with that. If I'm not mistaken Ranieri brought in Konte, who was key to their success. And Huth? But they did lose their recruitment guy, who found a lot of their good players. If my facts are wrong, please consider them as alternative facts.

You're absolutely right about that. Kante gave Mahrez the freedom he needed which he hasn't had this season. It's 60% about Kante leaving why they have found this season so difficult, and Ranieri brought him in. It is true the team shape last season was very similar to Nigel Pearson's though.

It all depends on what Leicester do next as to whether it was the right decision. Appoint Mancini and they will be a laughing stock pretty soon.
