Is the worst thing ever. In my first three weeks training at BRNC Dartmouth I have not been to bed before 1am and I am up at 5am each morning training. The only breaks we get are at lunch and dinner time, including weekends (right now is the first time I have had a proper break in weeks).

How do you Exewebbers cope with tiredness? Many of us here struggle to stay awake in the lectures, if we fall asleep we have to run round the college and do press ups. I NEED A LIE IN!!

You sound like someone who has been through an establishment like this. I know a lot of people who have had that same line shouted at them. I'm getting through it fine, just the sleep deprivation is a nightmare.

In your reality
The Armed Forces want real men not pansies. Did you say it was the Naval college? That explains it.

You get used to it. You should have had a baby first, before signing up. It would of been a walk in the park then. No sleep, disturbed sleep, screaming, crying, and that's just the missus, before the baby joins in !

Now I know why they use sleep deprivation as a torture method. ;)

He's a pleasure now, though, mostly ! :)
