Sorry if it's been covered, but how on earth were we seeded, and why were we given a guaranteed home draw?

And was it Sanchez, or Francis who pulled the magic number out?

Supporting City 'til the end.
Sanchez did the cube pull. :-O

No idea on the other points!

Has it always been thus? Long time since I've been interested in it!

We were an unseeded team, and for some reason (probably time) they had already drawn the unseeded teams earlier in the day, and in that draw we got a home game and tonight draw was just to see where the seeded teams would go (i think?)

We were not seeded.

All none seeded teams were drawn out I think to save time.

I would think they drew the teams from one bag and if it would be a Home or Away tie from another.

Thanks Dingbat, kinda makes sense.

Nik, it didn't work like that tonight! It was the most bizarre draw I've ever seen. At the start of the process, you knew that City were at home, while others, eg Morecambe, knew they had got an away tie.

But why have a draw to see if non-seeded teams were home or away?
