Fishbone's cover of "Freddie's Dead" is better than the original.

In fact, I only found it was a cover a month ago. Been hearing it for 30 years without knowing.

The Meteors did a wicked cover of The Stranglers,Go Buddy Go in 1987.
The original was released 10 years before on a double A sided single with Peaches.

Nouvelle Vague do covers of many classics.A particular favourite of mine is the cover of XTC,Making Plans for Nigel.
They also cover The Dead Kennedy’s,Too Drunk to Fkcu in their own slow style.
