The John Lewis Arena

I have some very interesting news today.

One of my contacts within the Retail sector (cannot be named for obvious reasons) called me today as he has contacts within John Lewis. His understanding is that we are in very advance negotiations with John Lewis to rename our beloved fortress the "The John Lewis Arena"

Apparently the only stumbling block is with the length of the deal, but it is likely that the deal will be agreed by the end of the month, for 2012/13 season.

I intially thought it was a wind up, but he really is not the type.

If it helps fund the development then sadly it is probably a necessary evil.

Anything that makes the club extra revenue is always welcomed by myself. I'm sure most of you will agree.

I can understand the necessity for stadium name sponsorship but I don't like it at all. I would accept
