Remember playing Go Ahead Deventer at the park in a psf during the sixties. They featured Duck Beek, billed as "The blonde whirlwind", can't remember much else though.
Was Duck Beek top of the bill?

He wasn't actually called Duck but I wasn't allowed to write his real name.

Seem to remember we got soundly beaten.

That tallies with my recollection.

And they had Colin Withers (ex-Villa, I think) in goal.
