It's still only January & there's a hell of lot of football to be played before Exeter & Torquay play each other again, and who knows under what circumstrances? The Gulls supporters would be best advised to carry on gloating about their double over the Greenies before getting carried away with hypertheticals

I believed all the hype.....the greeks, armed with the most sought after manager in the lower leagues, great football, crowds on the rise.......only a matter of time before you graced the Championship.

The tag of perennial struggler's and lower league basket cases seemingly banished for ever.

Now, you seem to be blowing it......that crown of Devon's no 1 club was yours for the taking for a decade or two.......not so sure now.

Not for me to say why, but looking from the outside in, it seems the trust has run its course, perhaps there was never any way of progressing without the trust stepping aside and letting outside investment take over.
