The picture explanation is that his dad is strongman Andrés Guðmundsson who takes part in the Scottish Highland Games! (Strong as/built like a Bear, High Lands, Tossing the caber)

If this is the correct answer then it might be helpful to note that Santos Gaia was born in São Mateus and Arjen van Heusden was born in Alphen aan den Rijn in case we need to recall the birthplace of other random ex-players!!!
