I would stick with Holmes. I didn't think he was anywhere near as bad as people thought, plus he had two on him every time he got the ball.. As I saw it the problem was at the back. The first two goal were collective mistakes by the defence, not individual errors. Sweeney should have got the ball away for the first one, but with goalie and two defenders in the six yard box, one of them should have stopped the cross getting to the striker. The second, again we should have at least got in a tackle before the striker got into the box.I think Lee Martin will come in for Holmes and, if fit, Forth for Abrahams. Don't think the defence will be altered.
:$........Who's Forth?
Mr Humphries? Abrahams? Miss Brahms? It's like an episode of Are You Being Served round here. I will go Forth and multiply.Out from last week would be Sweeney, Moxey, Boeteng and Humphries. In would come Oates ,Woodman, Collins and Forte if fit,if not, Jay. Matt said after the Yeovil game that some of the lads that did well will start on Saturday. It will be interesting to see if he means it.
No natural width in your team. Law is wasted as a defensive midfielder imo.Taylor is not a creative midfielder. I prefer him up top just behind the strikers. I think Tilson and Law would work well together. So I would go
Pym
Sweeney Brown A. Martin Woodman
Tilson Law
Taylor L.Martin
Forte(Jay) Stockley
