Latest rumour doing the rounds.....
Swansea are lining up a swoop for the talented young City midfielder Liam Sercombe......sources in S.Wales suggest that Brendan Rogers thinks the lad can go all the way.........to err Wales (before they sell him to an unnamed championship club for a hefty profit.)
City are understandably keen to hang on to their prized asset......for the rest of the season anyhow.
"We'd loike the laaad to stay 'ere and 'elp keep us up first before we let him go" said City director of football Julian Tagg.
"Dem Swanzee people were really understanding last year wiv young Ryan, they let him come back and play for us, whereas those Brighton lot said he couldn't come back and just offered us a bag of cash instead......we woz too smart for them eh".
"If that nice Brendan man from Swanzee lets us keep young Liam for this season too, then I think we may do the deal, yet more evidence that this 'ere club is going places, bay"
A spokesman for the Swans confirmed the Premier league "new boys" would be interested........"The last deal between us worked out ok'ish, although we were slightly disappointed to only get 250k for Harley considering we got him for nothing".
